Good to know
When a whole apartment is renovated, the material choices are best made all at once. The floor shade affects the paint color, and the wall color affects the doors and handles. Before the visit, gather photos of spaces you like and note what matters to you in each room. That makes it easier to settle one plan that holds the whole apartment together, not a pile of separate decisions.
The work order in a full apartment runs top to bottom and inside out. Removal and haul-away come first, then drywall and ceilings, then plaster, smoothing and a first coat of paint. The floor goes in once the wet, dusty wall work is done, and the final coat, doors and fixtures come last. That way the new floor does not take on dust and dirt from earlier stages.
An apartment renovation means deciding ahead of time where you will live during the work. If you stay, the apartment is split in two and work moves through one half at a time. If it is empty, every room can be worked on in parallel. It is also worth asking the building committee when work is allowed and how materials go up and down the stairs or elevator.

Questions about Apartment renovation
That depends on whether you live in the apartment during the work. In an empty apartment several rooms are worked on in parallel. In an occupied one the work is split into stages, so you always keep a place to sleep and cook. The split is agreed during the visit.
