Faucet Replacement for Kitchen and Bath

A faucet that drips when it is closed, a handle that wobbles, or a faucet you are simply tired of are all good reasons to swap it. Arka replaces kitchen, bathroom sink and shower faucets across the center and south, from Rishon LeZion to Be'er Sheva. The job covers taking out the old faucet, fitting the new one to the spot and installing it with a water test.

What the job covers

  • Removing the old faucet and cleaning the mounting surface
  • Installing a kitchen faucet, including pull-out models
  • Replacing a bathroom or powder room sink faucet
  • Replacing a wall-mounted shower or tub mixer
  • Replacing a shower head, hose and slide bar
  • Changing the aerator and clearing scale from the spout
  • Checking flow and connections after installation

Good to know

Before buying a new faucet, check how many holes the sink or countertop has, and how far the spout will sit from the wall. A tall spout over a shallow sink can splash, and a pull-out faucet needs room under the sink for its hose and weight. If the faucet is already bought, keep it in its box with all the parts and papers so it is clear what came with it.

A wall mixer in the shower is a different case. The distance between the two water points in the wall is fixed, and the new mixer has to match it or use adapters that bridge the gap. If the tiles around the old mixer are cracked, or the points are not level, it often only shows once it is taken off, so this is looked at carefully during the visit.

The swap starts by shutting off the water and removing the old faucet, then cleaning old silicone and deposits from the surface. The new faucet is mounted, tightened and tested under full flow, hot and cold. At the end you open and close it yourself, see that the handle works in every direction, and check that nothing drips under the sink.
