Drywall Work for Homes and Apartments

Drywall lets you build onto an existing wall without breaking into it: a niche for shelves, a TV wall, a box that hides a pipe, or cladding that straightens a crooked wall. Arka builds the frame, closes it with drywall boards and prepares the surface for paint. We build in drywall across the center and south, from Rishon LeZion to Be'er Sheva.

What the job covers

  • Niches in a wall for shelves, lighting or books
  • A TV wall with a hidden path for cables
  • A drywall box that hides a pipe or drain line
  • Drywall cladding to straighten a crooked or damaged wall
  • Closing an old interior door or window opening
  • Backing inside the frame where something heavy will hang
  • Tape, joint compound and sanding until ready for paint

Good to know

With drywall, the key decisions come before the first board goes up. Where the shelves will sit, what will hang on the wall, and where cables will run. Drywall on its own does not carry heavy loads, so the spot for a TV, a wall cabinet or a bookshelf gets backing inside the frame. On the visit we mark the measurements and the backing points together.

A box that hides pipes is built so they can still be reached later. If there is a valve, a shutoff or a joint inside, an access panel is left that opens without taking the drywall apart. On a TV wall, the cable path and the outlet position are planned ahead too, before the boards are closed.

What to prepare: the measurements of the TV, the shelves or the furniture that will stand against the wall, and a picture of what you want to see at the end. If pipes or wiring run through the wall, it helps to know that ahead of time. New partition walls between rooms and drywall ceilings are separate jobs, with their own pages on this site.

How it works

  1. You contact Arka

Call, send a WhatsApp message or fill in the form. Tell us what the job is and which city the home is in, in Hebrew, Russian or English.

  2. We see the space

We come to your apartment or house, look at the rooms the work involves and talk with you about what you want and what the space needs.

  3. Scope and timing agreed

Together we agree on what the work includes and when it happens. The job starts from that shared plan, with both sides knowing what was agreed.

  4. The work is done

The work is carried out as agreed. Questions that come up along the way, about a material or a change, go to you before we continue.

  5. Walk-through together

When the work is finished, we walk through it with you, room by room, and look together at everything that was done.
