Demolition and Haul-Away
Demolition and haul-away is the stage that gets an apartment or a room ready for renovation: whatever is not staying comes out, and the debris leaves the home. It can be a single room or several, floor tile, wall tile, drywall partitions or built-in closets. Arka does demolition and haul-away across the center and south, from Rishon LeZion to Be'er Sheva.

Good to know
Marking in advance what comes out and what stays matters a great deal. At the visit you go room by room and mark it: this floor comes up, that wall tile stays, this closet goes, that door remains. That way there are no surprises on the day, and any item in doubt stays in place until a decision is made. Whatever stays is covered and protected, especially flooring that is not being replaced, entry doors, and frames that are not coming out.
On site the order starts with protecting what stays, continues with removal from the top down, and ends with haul-away. Debris is bagged and carried out of the apartment as the work goes on, so it does not pile up. Demolition makes dust and noise, so let the neighbors know ahead of time and pick days that suit you too. In a shared building, elevator use and working hours are arranged with you.
Before the agreed day, move your furniture and belongings out of the rooms, or gather them in a room that is not being touched. Shut off the water to the area where fixtures are coming out, if it has its own valve. Photograph the current state, which helps when planning the next stage. If the demolition leads into a renovation by Arka, it becomes part of the overall schedule agreed together.

The work is done
The work is carried out as agreed. Questions that come up along the way, about a material or a change, go to you before we continue.
Walk-through together
When the work is finished, we walk through it with you, room by room, and look together at everything that was done.
